Curtis Heaton
Executive Director
Curtis Heaton is the Executive Director of the Canadian Biblical Counselling Coalition. He also serves as Student Care & Counselling Coordinator and Adjunct Professor at Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. He received his Master of Theology degree and Graduate Certificate in Biblical Care & Counselling from Heritage Seminary and is a certified biblical counsellor through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Curtis is married to Valerie, and together they have three children.

Board Chair
Nathan Penny is the Pastor of Soul Care Ministries at Hope Bible Church Oakville. Nathan serves on the board of the Canadian Biblical Counselling Coalition and is an adjunct professor at Heritage Seminary. Nathan and his wife, Natasha, and their two children and new grandchild reside in Waterdown, Ontario.

Betty-Anne serves the local church in discipleship roles that include speaking, teaching, mentoring, counselling, and training biblical counsellors. Betty-Anne also serves on the board of the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC). The roles closest to Betty-Anne’s heart are being a mom and a grandma.

Cam worships Christ, cherishes and adores his wife of over 35 years, delights in his children, counsels biblically, groks technology, and loves to serve others. Cam works full-time in information technology and counsels several hours a week. He holds an M.A. in Biblical Counselling from The Master’s Seminary and is an ACBC certified biblical counsellor.
Jennifer Holmes

Jennifer Holmes
Board Member
Jennifer is a biblical counsellor, with her MAC degree from Westminster Theological Seminary. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Biblical Counselling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is a speaker, podcaster, and writer on the topic of mental health and faith. You can follow her on instagram for encouragement and glimpses into her daily life @jensnewsong as she works out what it means to be a Christian living with mental illness.

Jason is the founder of the Gospel Care Collective. Jason received his Masters of Arts from Reformed Theological Seminary and training through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Jason is also a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC) and is an adjunct professor, teaching Biblical counseling, at Heritage Theological Seminary and Millar College of the Bible.
Jennifer Winger

Jennifer Winger

Jennifer is the Director of Women’s Ministry for Calvary Baptist Church and Mile One Mission located in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She oversees the discipleship of women including the church planting wives, elders wives and vocational women interns, training to go out as Gospel Workers on the church plants. Her main biblical counselling focus is on women’s health, anxiety, parenting and marriage.

Brian is the director of the Biblical Living Center based in Montreal, Quebec. He is a certified biblical counsellor with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC). Brian is married to Judy and has four amazing kids, and two grandchildren.
